2022 Is On

With Loudon County sheriff, Tim Guider's, announcement that he will not be seeking another term, several have already starting their campaign for sheriff.

Last week, county commissioners received the letter below from sheriff candidate, Paul Curtis.  

Lenoir City police officer, Dennis, Dino, Guider and Curtis have already filed preliminary paperwork to run for the office. Chief Deputy Jimmy Davis and Loudon City police officer, Marty Ward have also launched their campaigns.

The county primary for sheriff will be May, 2022. This will be the first time there has been an open seat for sheriff in 32 years.

Going to be a long election cycle.
