The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office is joining in the effort of the 2012 Police Unity Tour, a four day, 320 mile bicycle ride from New Hanover, NJ to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, DC. The purpose of the tour is to raise awareness of the number of officers killed in the line of duty each year in the U.S. The Tour also raises funds to enhance and maintain the Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington D.C.
