Two seats in the second district, the forth district and the sixth district. Second district school board member, Larry Proaps, has already announced that he will not seek reelection. the other second district member, Bobby Johnson Jr., will most likely run again. Forth district board member, Leroy Tate has made no public announcement as of yet. Sixth district member, Steve Harrelson, has picked up a petition to run for county commission which will leave his school board seat vacant.

Candidates wishing to run for one of the four open seats may pick up their nominating petitions beginning January 1st and will have till 12:00 noon April 1st to pick up and file their petitions.
